Payment: Payment is due the first day of your child’s week. If payment is not received by Wednesday, you will be charged an additional $5.00/week fee. If it is frequently late, then you will be asked to withdraw your child. If your child is scheduled, there’s a charge if he/she doesn’t attend.
Vacation: (This only pertains to full-time children, enrolled Monday through Friday, from 5 -10 hours a day, all year round) There is no charge as long as we receive at least 2 weeks’ notice. Your child must be enrolled at least 3 months in order to be entitled to vacation time. If at any time you withdraw your child for reasons such as maternity leave, surgery, lay-off, etc., then you will not be allotted any vacation time for the remainder of the year. Teddy Bear Day Care year runs from 1/1 – 12/31. Vacation must be taken in one week intervals, not in days. There is a max. of 2 vacation weeks per year.
Withdrawal: We need at least 2 week’s notice if you are withdrawing your child. You will be held responsible for two week’s payment if we are not given sufficient notice.
Holidays: We will be closed for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after Thanksgiving (Black Friday), and Christmas Day. The center also closes at 4PM on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. There is a charge for these days because the Center must pay the staff.
Parents' Responsibilities: Label Everything!
Infants: food, disposable diapers, wipes, 2 crib sheets, a napping blanket, an extra set of clothing, and feeding schedule.
Toddlers: a lunch with drink, a napping blanket, disposable diapers, wipes, and an extra set of clothing.
Pre-School: a lunch with a drink, a napping blanket, and an extra set of clothing.
PLEASE NOTE: Lunches that require refrigeration MUST have an ice pack.
Illness Policy: Your child may not come to day care if he/she has a fever of 101 degrees and above, diarrhea, or any contagious illness.
Behavior Policy: We will work with you if your child displays behavior problems; however, we reserve the right to withdraw your child if need be for the safety of others.
